Where Therapy
Meets Creativity,

and they throw a dance party

Hi and welcome!

I’m Alyssa, a therapist, writer, and multidisciplinary creative.

I believe in doing meaningful work, slowly. In letting things be messy while still moving forward. In helping people come home to themselves.

Whether I'm holding space in therapy, expressing creatively, or writing about what it means to live an embodied life, I’m always guided by the same values: honesty, curiosity, sustainability, and care.

My hope is for this space to be a reflection of all of that.

It’s for the therapists, creatives, and humans who are curious about exploring their own embodied creativity.

I'm so glad you're here.

My work lives at the intersection of:

  • Therapy – Offering trauma-informed, relational care that centers embodiment, autonomy, and enough-ness.

  • Writing – Through my newsletter Embodied Notes, I explore themes like burnout, embodiment, slow living, friendship, and self-trust.

  • Creative Direction & Design – I help values-aligned businesses and therapists create brands that feel human, grounded, and authentic to their unique identity.

  • Coaching & Support for Therapists – Through The Embodied Therapy Practice, I support clinicians in creating slower, sustainable, more fulfilling practices.

  • Slowness is a form of resistance.

  • You don’t have to prove your worth by producing.

  • There’s no “right” way to be a therapist, a creative, or a person.

  • Rest is productive.

  • Building something meaningful takes time and that’s okay.

What I believe:

Lover of fun, bold, and offbeat stuff

My work is grounded in the belief that we don’t have to compartmentalize who we are to do meaningful work. My hope is to bring the same values to everything I do, whether I’m sitting with folks in therapy, writing about embodiment, or helping fellow therapists create practices that feel good and sustainable.
